Mode of Application: Offline

Age Limit: Between 18 and 25 Years as on closing date. Age Relaxation as per Govt. Rules.

Pay Scale:  Rs. 5200-20200, Grade Pay 1900 (PB-1)

Selection Process: Written Examination. The question papers of written test (objective type) will be bilingual both English & Hindi (for all posts). The syllabus for written examination for above mentioned posts are as under:- (a) General Intelligence and Reasoning, (b) Numerical Aptitude, (c) General English, (d) General Awareness.

How to Apply: The application should be on plain paper (A4 Size) either neatly hand written or typed as per the prescribed Format, affixed with latest passport  size colour photograph with white background duly attested by Self. The envelope must be superscribed on the top as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF______", (i.e. Machinist, Pipe Fitter, Welder, Painter etc.) and CATEGORY "______" (i.e. SC/ST/OBC/UR). Ex-Serviceman and PWD canndidates are to mention their Ex-S/M and PWD status in addition) and sent by Ordinary Post along with (a)    Two additional Passport size photographs and self attested copy of educational documents / certificates and other necessary documents with A self-addressed envelope of size 2, 3x13 cm with postage stamp of Rs.10/- affixed on it.

The completed applications should be submitted to: THE COMMODORE, SUPERINTENDENT (FOR O/IC RECRUITMENT CELL), NAVAL SHIP REPAIR YARD, HADDO, PORT BLAIR-744 102 within 30 days (3.01.2016) from date of publication in Employment News dated 5th Dec 2015 (i.e. Last date may be 04/01/2016) and the last date of receipt of application from the candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State,Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi sub-division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh and Lakshadweep will be 40 days from the date of publication in Employment News (i.e. Last date will be 14/01/2016).
